Sunset Bay Cottage - Langkawi

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in Langkawi and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were reasonable and I felt like I got more than what I paid for. Secondly, the attention to detail in this hotel was impressive. From the beautifully designed rooms with a terrace to the basic amenities provided, everything was thoughtfully put together. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even in the hot weather. Lastly, the location of this hotel was perfect. Situated along the way to Tanjung Rhu, it was far away from the bustling Cenang beaches, providing a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was perfect.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, as it is very close to the amazing beach and allows for easy access to nearby restaurants. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent given the affordable price. I also appreciated that there was a parking lot available to guests and staff were friendly.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to a beautiful and private beach! We also appreciated having access to an outdoor kitchen and grill, which made it easy to cook our own meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering transportation options and keeping our room well stocked.

The lack of nearby restaurants and food options, but we were able to make do with the outdoor kitchen and finding local spots. the pillows were a bit too hard for our liking, but the overall comfort and cleanliness of the room made up for it.

The terrace, as shown in the pictures, provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. this hotel was a great find and I would highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is located along the way of Tanjung Rhu, away from the bustling Cenang beaches, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to arrange transport or provide assistance. The rooms are in good condition, with air conditioning and a terrace, just as shown in the pictures.

No improvements needed, everything was great!

During my recent stay at Sunset Bay Cottage, I was impressed by the 24/7 water dispenser available near the office. It was so convenient to have hot and cold water readily accessible whenever I needed it. the couple managing the rooms were lovely and cute, making my stay even better. I also appreciated the option to leave my luggage at the office after checkout and have a quick change of clothing before leaving.

Although the room at Sunset Bay Cottage was very comfortable, I wish there were more wall plugs, especially by the bedside, for charging electronics. I couldn't find the hairdryer in the room, and since I returned late at night, I didn't want to disturb anyone to ask for it.

Beautiful, serene, quiet beaches. Tremendous hospitality. Clean and new cottages. Clean and like-new towels and bedsheets. Fresh air. Private and clean beach. Good WIFI and telephone reception. Nice and beautiful landscape. Home-like environment. Friendly staff. Great location. Proper escape from city loudness and distractions.

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving at a cozy beach bungalow. the beach was secluded and had very few people on it. the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and every day we received a bag filled with bottled water and tea. the nearby restaurant was delicious and affordable, and we loved being able to relax in the hammocks and tables around the complex.

The air conditioning was not working as well as it could have, which made it uncomfortable to sleep during the night. we had to rely on Grab to get around as there was no public transportation available.
